Frequently Asked Questions

No. Hypnosis is a state of deep focus and relaxation, not unconsciousness. You remain aware and in control throughout the session, and you can't be made to do or say anything against your will.

Not at all, and this is probably the question I get asked most. You will not be asked to cluck like a chicken. Stage hypnosis is entertainment that relies on highly suggestible volunteers and a performance dynamic. Clinical hypnotherapy is a calm, collaborative process focused on your goals, not spectacle.

Everyone can enter a hypnotic state to some degree. What varies from person to person is suggestibility, meaning how you personally respond to and process suggestion. Part of our first session together is understanding your specific suggestibility, so the entire hypnotic process is tailored to how your mind actually works, not a generic script.
